"The Kraken"!!!!

The latest cob from the Black Spot Guild, the Kraken!
These are modeled after one of the very first known cobs, that would have sailed across the Atlantic with Christopher Columbus in 1492!

The back is nearly identical to the originals; with a bold shield and the Latin for "Ferdinand and Isabella", the king and queen of Spain at the time.

The front was inspired by the design on the original, but has a little more artistic liberty present, with the big Kraken in the middle surrounded the Latin for "at the mercy of the Kraken"!

Solid .999 fine silver. 27 grams, just like the originals. Or choose 31 grams (1 ounce) to easier keep track of your loot! As well as a slew of other options.

They are roughly 1.25", the size of a silver dollar, and all weigh either 27 or 31 grams. Just remember, these are hand poured, shaped, and struck. Each one will be quite different, in shape, thickness, size and in how much of the die actually transfers to the cob! So while some are fairly round, most are all kinds of shapes, may have small cracks on the edges, and due to them not being perfectly flat, the entire design will not show up on the silver. The average cobs show about 60-70% of the design on the silver. But that is exactly how they were back in the day, and exactly how they are supposed to be! If you want a nearly perfect one, buy the Royal /Galano; those I take extra care to make as round and flat as possible. They will show at least 95% of the design.
